A lot of Love in this House

Valentine's Day continues to be more fun the older Jonah gets. I find myself wanting to do more for Jonah on this holiday. I have bought him a spiderman heart shaped box of chocolate. I will pay for that later. He will be getting Toy Story and Mickey Mouse coloring pads too. Today I baked him a Giant heart shaped cookie today. He will be sharing Scooby Doo valentines with his classmates on Monday. It is just fun to celebrate holidays with kids in the house.

Six weeks ago we welcomed a baby boy into our family. Our hearts grew in order to provide the same amount of love to Eli as we do for Jonah. The house is filled with love. As I write this blog Kris is sharing the recliner with Jonah. Jonah is just giggling. Eli is sleeping after being gently rocked to sleep by me. There is nothing better than snuggling with a baby. Eli and I have enjoyed our days together while on maternity leave. There is a lot of loving, snuggling, grunting (from Eli) and kisses exchanged daily. I find myself missing Jonah and Kris during the day and love it when they come busting through the door each day. Jonah likes to crawl up on the chair with me and Eli to watch TV. He really loves to give Eli kisses on his head and say goodbye every morning. I cherish every minute I get to spend with Jonah these days. Caring for Eli takes up a lot of time and this makes me appreciate the time I do get to spend with Jonah. I tell him I miss him every day and that I love him very much.

Life is full for Kris and I. We have a full house and feel like a full family of four. We love our boys and each other and thank God every night for our blessings.

The adjustment of having two boys in the house is ongoing. Along the way, the love in this house grows stronger and stronger. I wish everyone love and blessings on this Valentine's Day.
