Week 36...

Sorry for the delay. Since the last time I wrote, I have had two doctor's appointments. Yes, this means delivery day is getting closer. I now go to the doctor every week. At each visit, everything has checked out beautifully. The baby's head is down, his heart beat is strong, my blood pressure is normal and I am still smiling :). Kris and I are enjoying this time because we get to hear the heart beat every week. The baby continues to get the hiccups and I become more sore/uncomfortable at night. But by morning time I am ready to go for another day.

My boss and co-worker threw an amazing shower and pulled off a great surprise last Friday. I walk into the room and there are not only my co-workers, but also my husband and mom. Before it was over both of my parents and Kris's parents were there to enjoy the party. I am truly blessed with a great husband, wonderful family and caring friends.

Kris and I took a series of pictures today to show what week 36 looks like on me. We had a good time and all of the pictures were taken in the nursery. Kris has spent time in the nursery just about every night. I don't know what I would have done without him.

As week 36 comes to a close, I find myself thinking more and more about the miracle going on in my body. It amazes me to think that my body has been the cozy home for our son over the past nine months. As days go by, Kris and I get more excited about meeting our baby. We can not wait to see what he looks like, getting to know him and his personality.
