Lately, I will look at Jonah and notice that he is growing. I am somewhat sad because he is loosing his baby look and now looks like a 3 month old. This is the other thing, it does not feel like three months has gone by. Time really does fly by when you become a parent.
Jonah is now reaching for things in front of him and just discovered his feet. The two of us will hold conversations in baby talk most afternoons. I have no idea what I am saying in baby talk but whatever it is makes Jonah smile. There is a long list of things I absolutely love on a daily basis now that I am a mother.
These are few of my favorite things...
Waking Jonah in the morning after a full nights sleep. Early morning smiles are the best
Picking him up out of the crib, sleepy, curling up on my as quick as possible to get comfy
Morning bottle time and how he wakes up just enough to eat, then goes back to sleep
Morning playtime with Daddy and Jonah
The minute I walk through the door after work and see my family
Playtime after work
Night time routine, bath, baby massage, blanket, bottle then bed. It's the B's of bedtime
This night time routine gives Jonah and myself quiet time to wind down from the day
Kris and me time after Jonah has gone down for the night
Getting to go back to sleep after the 5:00 AM bottle on Saturday and Sunday mornings
Morning smiles from Jonah before he eats
The face he makes when a bottle is in front of him
Making Jonah smile no matter how rediculous I look
How our baby boy has changed Kris and I from being a couple to being a Family
