Ever since Kris and I moved to Fuquay Varina, Jayme and Dana enjoy visiting our house during the fall season. The first year they visited, Dana was pregnant with Grady. We went to the Antique Shop in down town Fuquay and the State Fair. This was between naps of course. Throughout the next three years, they would come and visit. Jayme and Kris would work in the garage, while Dana and I would go all day without getting out of our PJs. Grady visited one year with a double ear infection. Just last year Barrett was still sleeping in his moses basket.
The visit from Jayme and Dana this year took on a whole new meaning. Our house was already full of toys for the boys to play with. Grady and Barrett also had another playmate, their cousin Jonah. Jonah was in awe of his cousins and enjoyed the hugs, tugs and love from Grady and Barrett.
It was a great weekend and the weather was nice. We woke up on Saturday morning and lounged in the PJs until 9:00. For those who do not have children, this means we got to stay in our PJs for at least a couple of hours. We loaded all of the kids in two cars and headed into Raleigh to the children's museum. Grady had a BLAST. Barrett enjoyed crawling around trying to keep up with Grady. Jonah strolled around and watched all of the excitement.
Kris and I loved the visit and hated to watch them leave. Thank you for the visit Jayme and Dana. We look forward to visiting your town during the Summer.
