Crazy time of the year

Here come the holidays....

Thanksgiving was spent at my parents house where we ate lots of fried turkey, fried chicken, fried sausage balls.... you get the picture. We ate lots of food. After eating we slept. After sleeping we ate. After we ate, we watched football. It was your normal Thanksgiving Holiday. I love thanksgiving. It is one of my favorite holidays. The break from work comes at the best time and is just enough to get you through until Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, I had a babysitter (my mom) the day after thanksgiving. She was busy all day on Thanksgiving day and kept saying "get your time in with Jonah today, because he is all mine tomorrow". The light bulb went off in my head and I began to make my list and check it twice. I had a plan for shopping the day after Thanksgiving. At 5:00 on Friday morning Kris and I woke up. This is normal waking time for me and about an hour early for Kris. My brother and sister in law also wanted to join, so we piled in the crazy and headed to Toys R Us. Oh my goodness... it was packed. We shopped all day and got a lot accomplished. The rest of my shopping will be done online.

This year, Kris and I have a lot to be thankful for. I am thankful for the opportunity to be a parent. I am thankful for a great husband who is also a great father. I am thankful for my happy and healthy baby boy. I am thankful for my family!!

Happy Holidays

Ashley said exactly what I was going to say - I LOVE that last picture! You are such a gorgeous Momma! And I can't believe you went to Toys R Us on the busiest shopping day of the year. Add "brave/nuts" to your title!
