Happy Father's Day

To all Dads, Happy Father's Day!! This was Kris's first time he got to celebrate Father's Day. So far, fatherhood has consisted of snuggle time, bath time, diaper changes and midnight bottle feedings. Each of these moments have created memories that will last a lifetime. The future of fatherhood holds throwing football in the yard, fishing at Bass Lake, camping trips and many more memories to cherish.
My mom and dad came to visit Saturday night so Kris and I could have date night. They loved every minute, taking care of Jonah. Kris and I had a great night out but I was ready to see my baby boy by the end of our date. It was nice to have my father and Kris together on the morning of Father's Day. Things come into full circle when your father and the father of your child are together to share in the holiday. I find that how I act as a parent is direct reflection of how I was raised. My dad is a great role model to look up to when it comes to parenting.

We are in Wallace visiting Jimmy, Kris's father, for this special occasion in the afternoon. To both Jimmy and Gayle, you have raised a fine young man. I know the lessons Kris learned throughout childhood and to this day will be passed on to his child.

Seeing my husband as the father of my child has made me fall in love with him even more. I didn't think it was possible. Happy Father's Day Honey!
