When will I go into labor? Yesterday, May 8th, was my due date. D-day has come and gone. I sit here this Friday morning wondering when it will happen. Kris and I took a day off from work to relax and wait. I am excited another weekend is here, and my family is coming to visit for Mother's Day. I am unable to travel at this time, so they are all coming in to visit me (and of course my Mom).

Today is my nephew's birthday. Grady is turning 3 years old today. His birthday party is tomorrow at Wrightsville Beach, and we are sad that we will not be able to attend. Grady's favorite color is Yellow, and everything at his party is going to be yellow. I even had a Yellow shirt picked out for me to wear. We will be there in spirit, and will see him soon.
Check out the Yellow Crocks!!
This week's doctor's appointment went well. The baby's heartbeat was in normal rhythm, which sounded strong and wonderful. We discussed how they are going to let me go one more week. I have scheduled another appointment for next Wednesday. If he has not shown up by then, they will check the fluid levels in an ultrasound, and complete a stress test on the baby during this visit. After these tests are complete we will set a date for induction. The doctor's are only going to let me go one week over my due date, since I am likely to be having a 9 lb (or more) baby. We are eagerly anticipating his arrival!!
Happy Birthday Grady!!
Happy Mother's Day to All!!

Apparently only Baby Swinson knows. You know I missed you at work today and especially knowing that yesterday could have been the last day I'd see you at work for a little while. You know I had to check in with Kymberli to see if there was any news and she said no, she hadn't heard anything. After some persuasion from her, I have decided to change my guess of the expected arrival date.
We're all anxiously awaiting the baby's arrival. I guess I'll have to check the babysite more frequently now. I hope all goes well and I hope you have a wonderful "Mother-to-Be" Mother's Day.
